<<-  Plate 1

Now That you have seen the above two images, from which plate would you prefer to eat? Plate 2 would get major votes, isn't it? Why is that so ? The food served is the same. Plate is almost the same...But biggest difference comes in PRESENTATION of you plate. It means the way you present your food is very important..

Let me start here by giving you some simple presentation ideas and techniques which are basic and easy to do :-

Enjoy Food : Fall in Love !

Enjoy your food and fall in Love, well this time not with a person..Dont think I am giving you all a 'gyaan' on falling in Love.Yes,But I am surely going to give you all a gyaan on falling in Love with the food you eat. This is the first success line towards your reach to cooking or making an attempt to cook.

Well,I am sure all of us here who are reading this blog would have visited all new restaurants and tried out something new to eat every-time you visit.A simple reason behind this is you want to try something new,you want to eat something different, you are bored eating everyday food. Have you ever thought why have you got bored eating the same stuffs again? Well, non of us have thought so deeply....Here is the answer..You have not fallen in Love with the food you eat..!! You are eating only for the sake of it..You eat for energy, you eat for survival, you eat to enjoy the company around you..But how many of us fall in Love with the food we eat?

Just imagine a scenario where you order a dish in restaurant and give some time for yourself and actually taste it slowly and tactfully. Enjoy every bite that you eat.Smell it well, enjoy the fragrance of the food you eat..How would you feel? Wont it be an amazing and different experience all together..Well,yes it is !! Try it once..You will actually fall in love with the food item with the  look of the food item, the way it is cooked for you,the way it is served for you,the way it simple is meant for you, just you !! Your next immediate thought would be what could be the ingrediants to this? What all must have added that gave this food item such beautiful aroma and taste? What could be the magic mantra for this ? Once you start thinking this..You are going one step ahead to reach your goal to start cooking and Love it all.

Here is my experience that I would love to share it with everyone. When I was in school,or college or rather when I use to hangout with my friends during my college days ,I had this weird habit of tasting the food and even before ordering the food I would ask the restaurant manager what would be the ingredients in the food item I am ordering..I would ask them to alter it for me..Modify it if required and trust me this developed a different level of interest in me to try these stuffs at home too.of-course this interest developed with time.Today when I visit restaurants with my family or friends I continue the same habit.I happen to ask managers the ingredients before ordering. I realised I AM FALLING IN LOVE WITH THE FOOD even before tasting it. The excitement of tasting or eating the food increases if you fall in love with what you eat...

It ultimately goes the same way..Love what you do !! Similarly Love what you eat should be mantra in Life !!

Love to eat ? OR Eat to Love ?

The title would have confused you isn't it? Yes, but have we ever asked this question to ourselves? Ok Let me ask this question to everyone who is reading this blog right now. So, All of us are foodie here but would you love to eat ? or you Eat because you are in Love ?

Both the things are possible in most of our cases...Yes many people just love to eat...Today people in all the age group,be it a toddler or a school going kid or may it be a young college going guy or a office goer or a old person ,90% of people love to eat.Yes,literally eat,eat and eat !! and of-course a ready made food..Who would not love to have a hot served food in front of them and just eat it without even thinking about it twice..
Foodies like us would definitely love to eat..Yes,that includes me too. I was and I am always surrounded with people are equal food lovers..This is what inspired me to write this..But what if someone restricts us not to eat a certain kind of food and specially the one we love. None of us would wish to have a day in Life when we will have any restrictions on eating food.

None of us would want to have a day like this lady in the picture who would just keep looking at the plate. Here's an idea guys !! Eat everything you love, but EAT LIMITED !! A simple tip isn't it? Easy to follow too. I am sure we all can follow a simple tip like this where we are tasting and eating everything we love but in limited quantities to avoid any kind of future problems.

Coming next,How many of us Eat only because we love someone, could it be our mom's,our friends, our boyfriend's!! And yes, I know hoe difficult it is to say 'No' to a food that you don't want to eat just because you don't want to hurt that person and you love them more than the food. Well, most of us who are in this situation either over eat because our partner is eating and so we have to accompany them or others have to eat because there is no option when the food is served either at your home or at relatives home. There is a simple solution to this, ask the person serving you to decrease the quantity of serve they make! Enjoy every bite of food that you eat and you will enjoy the food for sure...

Be Like a lady in this picture who is Enjoying every Bit of the food.

Nothing can make you sad in Life if you start enjoying food...Its a best stress-buster !!!

Invitation to my Kookery House !!

So, after booking a show for this weekend, are you also ready to know something on 'Kookery House'
Well , I am sure all of you who are reading this blog must be excited to know about whats 'Kookery House' all about. So, I am sure , now you all must be thinking ,is this a cookery platform or eatable platform or something else. Anymore guesses??

Ok 'Kookery House' is all about my creation, innovation and my love for Food & cooking. This blog will majorly be focusing on food, cooking and nutrition.  I would want to teach A,B,C of cooking to every girl who is planning to get married.Every boy who is planning to stay away for job or studies, every man who wants to cook for his wife and every women who wants to make her children happy.

Don't think its going to be about mixing and grinding and chewing of ingredients that Apurva is teaching you all about, its not about ingredients only that I am going to make you learn. But there are many things that you will explore with me as you read my lines.

So for all you working ladies there , are you really tired today after a days work and want to learn and explore more with me,this can be a right place. A husband who is planning to cook something for his wife but thinking on recipes to make. A mom are you really tired of making tiffin for your kid. Just take a deep breadth and follow me. My simple funda would be here to make your life simple, yes very simple !

Let me share some of my experiences of learning A,B,C's of cooking and kitchen. Well, for me cooking was never inborn and its not meant to be for you ladies, mind it ! Its something that I explored and I loved it and yes I am loving it even today to an extend that I thought to sharing my experiences with you all just to tell you all that cooking is not a rocket science but it should neither be a forceful act.Isn't it?

All of us must have experienced this ,Moms shouting at us for helping her in kitchen and moreover learning some cooking and serving everyone. Whats the reason? As a girl we should be knowing this and why? To serve our prospective family. Ohh Bullshit !! This is what I use to think and I must have fought with my mother innumerable times for this. But today I guess I give all my credit to my mom (Aruna Shukla) to make me a trainer in this field and an inspiration.

Well,I am a human resource professional career wise but cooking came naturally to me. I still remember those days of school when i use to help mom in kitchen and make Maggi for dad and sister.Ohh that use to be biggest achievement of those times.Serving a tea to a guest and hearing a Waah Waah ! was a roller coaster excitement for me. Its been a journey of learning from me from making a tea to a full fledged food. Ohh Woow !! I am proud to be a learner even today...I love to be a teacher for those who ask my recipes and take my tips...I love to be a mentor for my sister..I love to be praised by my husband for loving me and my food equally and I love to hear those wows from my family who are proud to have a working daughter in law who is equally a good cook !
